Description:
Installation and on-site service of computer & telecom networking equipment at various customer sites.
Products handled by this position:
All major data network equipment including; computer hardware, network hardware, peripherals, Microsoft and CISCO products, Dell, telephone PBX and VOIP hardware.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-sale system design
- Creating schematics and documentation
- Installation and management of Windows server environments
- Site surveys
- Installation of data and VoIP hardware and software
- Post installation support and customer training
- Troubleshooting and repair of data equipment
- Help desk services
- Share on-call duty
Requirements:
(Minimum 2 years experience in all areas listed)
-Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-MS Windows desktop and server operating systems, MS Office, Exchange, SQL, IIS
-Microsoft Active Directory and Security Policy administration
-Linux / UNIX
-Ethernet networks
-Router, Gateway and Firewall administration
-Broadband Technologies (i.e. T-1, DSL, Cable)
-Ability to understand and troubleshoot various hardware and software
-Ability to read and understand manufacturer documentation
-PBX and VoIP technologies
-Experience in troubleshooting and installing computer hardware
